Course History
Designed by previous owner, Phillip Ballard and Eagle Greens Ltd., The Chimneys Golf Course opened in 2002. After years of operation under Eagle Greens, The City of Winder purchased the business in 2014 and continues to operate it today.
During the summer of 2024, The Chimneys Golf Course underwent a significant renovation, converting all greens from bent grass to ultra-dwarf Sunday Bermudagrass in order to present a more desirable playing surface and improve golf course sustainability.
